Thusharagiri Waterfalls is a popular tourist spot located in Kozhikode District of Kerala. Thusharagiri is situated in the Western Ghats mountain ranges and is in the eastern side of Kozhikode District. This place attracts many visitors from around the country. There are several other waterfalls situated around Thusharagiri Waterfalls. Thusharargiri is one of the favourite spots for trekkers and nature enthusiasts. Thusharagiri forest joins with Wayanad forests as Kozhikode and Wayanad are neighbouring districts. You can avail Taxis at Kodencheri town which is 11 km away from Thusharagiri. Regarding the availability of food, No restaurants are present there near the waterfalls. There are a few restaurants at Kodenchery town. There are a few lodging facilities available near the waterfall. More hotels are available at nearby towns Kodenchery or Thamarassery.
Best time to Visit Thusharagiri
Thusharagiri waterfalls never become dry at any season of the year. So we can visit this place at any time round the year. But Monsoon (June to August) will not be a good selection, because it will be difficult to reach there. Slippery rocks and leeches in the forest too are the other factors. the best time to visit Thusharagiri waterfalls is after monsoon, That is the months from September to December.
